Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we hold it, who else sees it, and how to make us delete it. In plain English, not legal fog.

Who we are
This website and the Jed service are run by DS Maker LTD, a company registered in Cyprus under number HE465492, at Efesou 9, 5280 Paralimni, Famagusta, Cyprus. When this page says "we", that is who it means. You can reach a human at hello@jed.so.
What we collect
Only what we need to do the work and to run the business. Nothing is collected to be sold, and we do not buy data about you from anyone else.
When you ask for an audit or write to us
Your email address, your website address, the city you work in and your trade. We use it to prepare the audit, send it to you, and reply if you write back.
When you become a customer
The name of the business, its address, phone number, opening hours, services and photos. We need these to build your website and to keep your details correct across the pages we publish for you.
When you pay
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number never reaches us and we never store it. We receive the last four digits, the card brand and whether the payment succeeded.
When you visit this website
We use a privacy-first analytics tool that counts page views, rough location by country, and which page sent you here. It does not use cookies, it does not follow you to other websites, and it does not build a profile of you.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Because you asked us to do something (prepare an audit, build your site), because we have a contract with you, or because we have a plain business reason such as keeping accounts and preventing fraud. If you are in the EU or the UK, those are the legal bases: consent, contract, and legitimate interest.
Who else sees it
Only companies that help us run the service, and only the part they need:
- Stripe for payments and subscriptions
- Cloudflare for hosting, domains and email forwarding
- Twilio for the call tracking number on your site
- AI providers to generate and improve the pages we publish for you
We do not sell your data, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with advertisers. If a court or a regulator with authority over us demands it, we comply, and we tell you unless we are forbidden to.
How long we keep it
Audit requests: 12 months, then deleted. Customer records: for as long as you are a customer, plus 7 years for the invoices, because tax law requires it. Analytics: 24 months in aggregate.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop using it. Write to hello@jed.so and we will answer within 30 days. There is no form to fill in and no fee.
If you are in the EU, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. In Cyprus that is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.
Children
Jed is a service for businesses. It is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect anything from children.
Changes to this page
If we change how any of this works, we update this page and change the date at the top. If the change matters to you, we email you about it rather than hoping you notice.
